The National Consortium of Breast Centers (NCBC) is offering a Clinical Breast Examination Certification Program in Las Vegas, NV to promote consistent breast health care throughout the nation.  This certification is available to licensed healthcare professionals  (physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, registered nurses and radiologic technologists).  This program is designed to utilize standardization of Clinical Breast Examination Skills to accomplish CBE’s Paramount Objective, i.e., Detection of any DOMINANT breast mass, as another early detection tool to ultimately reduce breast cancer deaths.  

CBE certification is approved by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Magnet Recognition Program. Practitioners employed by Magnet Facilities can use the CBEC designation in their credentials after successfully completing the examinations.

The program with test practice, is held on Saturday.  Examinations will be administered on Sunday of the scheduled dates.   As of this date, over 307 Breast Health Professionals have been certified by the NCBC.

 

The cost for Breast Health professionals (physicians, physicians assistants, nurse practitioners, registered nurses and radiology technologists) is $1195.00  with a limited number of registrants at each program.
